well i finally got er running. couldnt find the dip stick, so i had to buy that, had to go get valve cover gaskets, then oil... so on and so fourth.

started first crank, 2nd time around... i did pretty good with the timing just eyein it i must say

only ran it for like a minute, then i made my dad keep it running so i could get a little video... he is sick so he is being a little bitch about everything.

no revvin or anything just idle... get some videos later after i hook everything up, the shifter linkage isnt in it and the clutch assembly isnt together either lol. and the valves still need to be adjusted. too much crap 8)

shouldn't you adjust the valves before you start it and hold it around 2200 to break in the cam

no since, the motor has a bit of miles on it. it was in the car before... everyone has seen the old pictures of it.
