Any 12v source will work. Hook it to the cig lighter power, tap into the radio's power, tap into the ignition power, hell hook it up to the battery What will you be spraying on your intercooler? Alcohol? Ice water? Just curious.

I read this article on Overboost.com where they had a very thorough test of an intercooler spraying system. Water or alcohol, bottom line is they don't work for more than like a 1-2% drop in temperature. Totally worthless in my opinion. Unless you are spraying it with water with red food coloring in it, then that would look weird/cool.

Re: getting 12v
i plan to use ice water at the track. making it just for the hell of it. ill probably tee of the cig lighter wire i figure its closer to put a switch to. I remember hondatuning doing a hmt style turbo setup with a water sprayer and then the sti came out with one. ive heard oldschool drag racers used something similar to this so i figure ill see if its worth a damn. ill probably buy a cheap lil temp gauge and see how usefull it is.

I'd look into water injection before an intercooler sprayer, but since you already have the parts, why not?
