yes, but we all can agree, shaved mouldings are hideous and 100% ricer, therefore he should remove them or forever be known as stevericer

nahh but it looks good Steve. doing it right the first time is the only real way, even if it will take longer. |
Re: Gettin' high in the garage, and that ain't no bologne.
In high school I had the cleanest 88 ford tempo anyone has ever seen. I go back and forth between wanting a built car and wanting a turbo rust bucket. I had project cheap slut while the shuttle was stripped down, and then when I finished it I didn't want it anymore. I go back and forth between low commitment and total commitment. Don't hate the player, hate the game. O0

Re: Gettin' high in the garage, and that ain't no bologne.
rawr's logic and insight are, as usual, impeccable.
Nothing's wrong with a clean, fresh car. They are a joy to work on, and once sorted are smooth and flawless and perform the way all cars with any amount of effort in them should. But: The RHD is functionless and only exists for the HT Homo fanclub. The 8 pt roll bar is not safety minded the car needs a 10 pt cage because this is a high power streetcar, and #1 most likely accident is going to involve the front end not a rollover. The problem with any turbo Honduh pushing any power, streetcar or not, is traction; not faggot dynoQueen numbers on a piece of paper to impress HT Homo fanclub members... Stevemode makes excuses on why his original target dynoQueen number is no longer hype-worthy so he's not very worried about making a lot of power anymore. Translation: a Metro with a 30 shot and a fresh alignment will be able to rape him traffic light to traffic light because he really thinks dynoQueen numbers make a fast car, not traction. This illustrates Stevemode has never been in a FWD running faster than mid 13's, and exactly how out of his league he is with this build. Steve needs to end this argument by cedeing that while he has teased some people about being ricey in the past, he himself likes some rice and that the teasing he's gotten is fairplay. If not, I'm going to take Steve's thread away from him by making it a technical thread as opposed to a subjective morality thread, and my first diatribe will be on the superior efficiency of Whitey's twin turbo setup vs the conventional setup Stevemode has planned, followed by a nice grilling/correction session concerning his setup... sort of like a question/answer session, only much less friendly. PS - rawr is going to be my VP running mate for the '08 Presidential Election. Prepare to kiss your title, and illusions of grandeur goodbye. I love you, Steve... :-* |
Re: Gettin' high in the garage, and that ain't no bologne.
I was going to note how "JDesque" rawr is attempting to sound these days. The intellect vocabulary doesn't ammuse me. If JD considered his own words of me never being in a mid 13 second car, he might want to read his history books a little more and see that my crx ran 13.84, with only 10 of the 19 pounds of boost that I was allowed to run while destroying home depot couplers at the drags. The rest of his words should be considered when figuring in his opinion on the matter.
Either way, I'd love to hear your efficiency argument of a twin turbo D series vs. the conventional B series with single turbo argument. The election is mine, dirtboy. |
