Default gay *** story, what's ur opinion on situation?

well its like this, i put items for sale in "for sale" section, buyer emails me saying he wants it. i sell it for low price includding shipping. i accept through paypal.. i lose 2 dollars. i still pay for shipping. i did the swap on a wednesday... the swap from paypal to the bank account. "i had to wait cuz im to broke to pay for shipping with my own money til the actual money clears". it clears on saturday around 10ish maybe. buyer emails me askin if i shipped the item yet. i said not yet but ill ship it out monday morning "since post office is closed on sundays" i send item out that monday "4 days go by" and he emails me askin bout it, i told him i sent it that monday like i said. it should be there. he emails again 2 days later. i dont respond immediately cuz im not home on my computer. hour later he files a claim through paypal askin for his money back cuz he didn't recieve item yet? its only been around 10 days since he sent item and 4 days of that was me waiting for the money to clear to my bank account. am i in the wrong?

and im sure kev can vouch for me on the usps being a bit slow on shipping items these days.

Isnt there a minimum he should have to wait before filing?

Youre fine man, but maybe he wants to scam you to get his money back since you already shipped and he knows it...

Just talk to him, ship getting to me USPS sometimes takes almsot 3 weeks, 6 days aint ----

I thought it had to be 30 days or something until someone can file a claim? Maybe they changed it

rule of thumb. always ship with tracking. and that feature where the person has to sign for it is a great thing to do as well....

deliveery confirmation is only like 45 cents, with a tracking number, you are covered, he is covered, if it get's lost, not your problem ,you sent it. I always add it to anything I sell.

I don't think you are in the wrong, he should wait a little longer before filling the claim. I thought paypal did require to wait at least 30 days, not sure though.

e-mail paypal and tell them the story, If you have a receipt of the day you sent it, and it is indeed monday, you should be fine.

if it is thorught paypal..
to make sure your $ in in sure hand.

first you gotta make sure he is a "verified" buyer.
second you need to make sure u mailed it to a "confirmed" address
third, you must get a internet trackable TRACKING NUMBER.

with all those ---- up there, once the buyer declined the payment(they can always do it within 90 days after transaction), you can always provide paypal the tracking number to stop the reversing.

lets say if you didn`t mail it to a confirmed address OR you did not obtain a tracking number....
bye bye XXXX (<---insert amount of transaction)dollars

a tracking number doesn`t do any good if you shipped it to a un-confirmed address.
he can always dispute the payment within 30days even after he got the part.

GOOD LUCK

who the ---- is it anyway. if this ---- ever dispute the charge someone should go ---- him up.
