I like the idea of adapting the honda odb1 as it seems that that is a tried and ture solution. Its cheap, simple, and there are a ---- ton of gurus out there to show some of us engine management noobs how to master it. I like the idea that a robust ecm that is in huge supply is just a few hundred bucks away. If I new how to run it on my lexus I would do it in a heart beat.
