i love starquests, conquest in perticular... i would def buy it i think if the guy comes through... $1500 for it with 70k miles.

the stingray has a shitty carb'd low comp 350. its like 220hp or something.
plans on it would be cam/intake manifold/4bbl all of which i have in my garage right now. and a blow through turbo
i also have a set of forged 400 pistons, if i bought a set of rods i could build a 383 with forged pistons that would rock my world turbocharged.

the conquest kinda worries me since i think it would take big money to make it as fast as my stang is now... although they are sweet looikin, and have nice black leather interior

ohh and about the stingray, its a lame ass auto... and most of them you see are. that would have to be changed, i could steal the 4spd out of the camaro 8)

See now that's a plan, the starion body style gets me hard i must say, but to much money to fix and mod, teh vette isnt my cup of tea, im more of an 80's g body g machine kind of guy but it is what it is, with teh four speed and a blow through it would work real well, for the stroker you need the 400 crank as well right? besides, when was the last time you have seen a even halfway quick early 80's vette..? They just dont get built, to many idiots thinking their car is fast cause it's a vette...so they leave it stock so as not to mess up teh value..come on..value? Yah i was always under the impression that teh stroker motor is a 400 crank and rods in 350 block, simply a stroke change and not bore?

i left out the 400 crank, i have one of those too

i always get confused on how it exactly goes together.

i believe its: 400 crank, 400 rods, and some custom pistons something to do with where the pin is. in a 350 bore.

or i could just find a 400 block, and use all the parts i have already

Take it for a spin, and if you like it, whip out the cash.

when I did my 383 that was in my porsche 911 it was 400 crank rebalanced with mallory metal(drill and press), mains turned to fit the 350 block, 350 rods(5.7 inch I think), custom pistons.
