Cult - A religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.

So, if there was some "branch" if you will of Christianity that went and killed people that weren't Christians because they believed the Bible told them to do so, they could be called a cult. A cult is not a religion.. just an extreme part of it :P

So, how is Christianity a cult? Have fun trying to prove me wrong 8)

Your definition doesn't say anything about killing people who don't believe in your "cult". :P

religous sect generally considered extreamist or fake. I think your religion is not only extreme, but very fake. And the lifestyle is most definitly unconventional. What makes life worth living if you can't have sex before marriage? Not only that,b ut you can't bang your neighbor's wife. (Hmmm, wonder if the neighbor's daughter is off limits?) You know how you felt when you found out Santa wasn't real? You were good for so long so the fat guy would bring you stuff and you got screwed because there is no Santa. Well it is going to hurt even worse when you find this one hits you.

P.S. Told you Thumpers get pissed when you call them a cult.

I was being smart; but at the same time, if someone claimed to be a part of Christianity and killed people in the name of God because they are non believers, anyone involved in that group would be considered part of a "cult".
