Boosty, dude your logic is so fucked i dont even know what to say.
when you get your first ticket for 3mph over because they have radar cameras everywhere, dont come crying here about it. and if you think they arent going to be giving out tickets for only a few mph over the speed limit your mistaken. what do you think they are gonna say "well its ok to speed a LITTLE bit, but we will give you a ticket it you speed ALOT". lol a speed limit is a speed limit, there is no "tolerances" where you can go plus or minus a few MPH and its A OK. its all or none and its a stupid idea.
noone (except johnny) is saying we shouldnt have laws or speed limits. but your on the ------- "let the government take away more freedoms" bandwagon. you really think putting in cameras in schools is gonna do ----? you think these school shooters are gonna be like " ---- they put in cameras so now i cant go on a shooting spree"? no there gonna do it anyways because there ------- wacked out of ther skull. how many school shootings actually last long enough for the police to get there and the person still be running around shooting people where the cops cant find them? lets be real here.
same thing goes for the traffic cameras. you think people arent going to speed still? unless they place them every 10 feet of road, people will know where they are and slow down for them. so now your tax money went for the to spend tens of millions to put up these cameras only to not bring in the revenue they claimed so now all that money that could have gone to something like making the roads better to drive on went to those useless cameras that give out tickets to people who are driving over the speed limit, but not necessarilly recklessly.

First of all since when is there a major problem with kids getting plowed over by maniacs while leaving their schools? around here we have people called "crossing guards" maybe your town should look into that, also there already are cameras on school buses and on board, and no cameras don't prevent jack ----, just look at the kids that beat the ---- out of some white bitch for sitting their spot on a public bus in baltimore, there were cameras onboard but was that a deterrent?
also google Columbine, there were plenty of cameras in that school and you can still watch the video of Eric any Dylan tearing up ----, in fact they made all kinds of video prior to the actual shooting, but since they both killed themselves several hours before the police even entered the building i want to know how cameras could have saved lives?

the bottom line is that this is all about making money, not about safety, if it was then they would actually be listening to the traffic engineers telling them how to properly determine speed limits and different ways to time stoplights so that they actually prevent accidents instead of causing them.
Did you know that one study showed stoplight cameras reduced front and side collisions by 20 and 30% respectively but increased rear end collisions by 15%. Also studies show that increasing the duration of yellow lights by 1 second reduces red light violators by something like 85%, and you should know that in addition to this if you delayed the greenlight to wait until a red light runner was all the way through the intersection the likely hood for an accident would almost cease to exist.
Also you should know who the company is that actually is running the cameras you are so in love with, they are called Redflex traffc systems, they are based in australia and currently provide 40% of the countries radar camera solutions. It is also significant to note that they make money off every citation issued ( in arizona for every 150 dollar speeding ticket they make about 40 dollars) and they are currently under investigation by the us postal service for mail fraud.
also there are problems with people getting mixed up in they system, so your not a speeder? thats ok, you might get a ticket anyway because the camera reads your plate wrong, or they get your info mixed up with someone else, and since they don't actually send you the picture with the ticket, you get to go to court.
