------ God-Complex Cops

Re: ------ God-Complex Cops
I haven't even watched this video you guys are bitchin' about(my computer sux) but I can still say that some of you guys are talkin' out your ***...If you come at an officer with a shitty attitude then YES he is gonna ---- with you. If they see you out at 2AM in the morning they yes they are gonna at least check in to what you are doing, because ALOT of people that are out at that time of the night/morning are up to NO ------' GOOD. Cryin' about the fact that they can ---- with you is pointless because there's really nothing you can do about it. It is power that THEY POSSESS and you don't. That isn't gonna change as long as our government is set up the way it is. About three weeks ago me and a friend of mine got caught racing(45-110mph run with a camera in my buddies car) down I-75 by a county cop. I'm 28 and WHITE, my buddy is 20 or 21 and BLACK. I talked to the cop and was respectful(didn't kiss his ***) and he was respectful in return, telling us that he enjoyed racing himself, and that if we were gonna do it we needed to do it on a remote back road or at the race track. He gave us both tickets for too fast for conditions. He COULD have taken us both to jail. Not ALL cops are bastard ********. BUT ALL COPS HAVE TO DEAL WITH BASTARD ********, and I guess day after day of that ---- just gets to some of them and eventually brings out the worst in them. I used to have the whole ---- THE COP mentality but now I just do my drinkin' and smokin' around the house and I don't do anything STUPID(well, MAYBE that incident 3 weeks ago) for them to ---- with me for. You all will realize this is the way to do things as you grow up. And JD, there are already enough ppl out there cryin' a f@ckin' river for all the minorities, give it a break...

The problem is the laws that enable everyone to instantly be a suspect, i live in missouri and our roads are shitty, public transportation is a joke, but the police department just got anouther million dollar helicoptor and a bunch of brand new police cars and more officers to fill them, that way they can catch all of those evil speeders and drug dealers.
as far as that cop is concerned, if he really thought that the kid was suspicious he could have just parked nearby and waited to see what he was doing there, or run his tags to see if he had warrants for anything, but the first thing he should have done after pulling him over was identified why he was pulled over and ask what he was doing, the kid did not have to answer to anything.
some cops are pretty cool but most of them are only interested in protecting and serving themselves.
Buk why are you defending the police? what kind of terrorist are you? :P

Though, I do believe there are still some cops out there who genuinely believe in doing good. They get horribly outnumbered by the ******** though.

Nice article showing a little more background on our friends, especially the cop. http://www.officer.com/online/articl...ion=1&id=37868
Long justification of cops behavior and how they have to be more careful as people start using cameras in their own vehicles as well. Comments at the end of the article most entertaining. http://www.officer.com/interactive/2007/09/14/stgeorge/
Was it baiting? Perhaps slightly. However, the kid's been assaulted before by a cop and I don't really see anything wrong with running a scanner, camera, and detector. Thought about doing it myself sometime soon. If you don't have your own evidence (The cop's in car recording has since mysteriously disappeared) then it's you own word against a cops and as we all know, they can make up 9 things and throw you in jail just to prove they're right.
