Picayune, MS Police Turn School Into Traffic Checkpoint
Police set up a traffic ticket checkpoint stopping parents in Picayune, Mississippi as they drop off their children at school.

Parents dropping their children off at schools in Picayune, Mississippi will be stopped by police officers looking for out-of-state license plates beginning Monday. The Picayune Police Department believes having such a license plate is probable cause for them to hold the driver for additional questioning, issuing tickets to anyone whose papers are not in order.

Last year, the Picayune Police Department became one of the first police agencies to deploy unmanned aerial vehicles for video surveillance purposes.

its unlikely all the states will follow. not every state are going to have the same legal system. most ---- has to be voted.

yeah that ---- does suck, it's constant harrassment in san diego(where i live), they are even starting roadside smog checks. the pigs will wave you over and make you do a smog check(and they do a visual check also) if you fail smog you get a ticket(and if the pigs see somethin they dont like...it's a ref ticket)

thats ludicris bullshit. police are there to protect and serve. not harass, demean and scare the public into being an obdeiant little prole, afraid of making an attempt at living for the fear of being punished by a group of people who have clawed and lied there way into power using an ostentaious mask of pristine. id be so ofended if a police offcer pulled me over because of a roadside smog check. once everyones vehicle checks out good and they cant hastle you on that anymore. what else are they going to take away? everyone watch out for the ------- thought police ::)

yeah i hate cops with a passion, if they would spend more time preventing crime and lookin for stolen cars it would be a better place (last time me car got broken into they wouldnt come out to look at it, they just took the report over the phone) but i dont see that happining anytime soon. ---- the police

leos should do the right thing and go into a private security or whatever else in their field. government is corrupt and i could never ever see myself trying to enforce some communist laws like these. lots and lots of cops agree with the law and fully support it.

This is true. California has been forever known as the place where the state government will nickle and dime you to death because they are ALWAYS in debt. Things like the strain on the school system, healthcare system, road maintanence, ect... are way over used for the amount of people living there.

make it very clear cops do not just enforce the law. they are the ones who come up with and support these ridiculous laws and policies.

COPS are to blame.

Police in Sacramento, California announced Wednesday that they would use $5 million in federal money to begin cracking down on auto enthusiasts who modify their vehicles. The money will be used to form an undercover "Drag-Net" unit to stop motorists who appear to be driving modified cars.

The cops' salaries, as well as the politicians depend on bullshit laws. They "tax" people by writing obscene amounts of tickets. This pays the cops, the government, and the state. Same thing with the teachers union and the school district. Cut Ca. off and drop it into the water.

the police pretty much allow street races where i live. Everyone meets at a timmies, like about 500 cars, and one cop car sits out front just to make sure everything goes alright. Then everyone loads up and takes off to random places to race people that they challenged in the timmies lot.

They will however give you a ticket because the tip of your exhaust is too big. hahahahaha.

Hence why I plan on moving out of the US when I graduate. Watch Fox News (or Bush News) and become afraid of America. Today in the 3 minutes I watched it they were talking yet again about terrorism and how its a global effort... makign it seem like we need a world war. We live in a fascist nation and theres nothing we can do about it but put up with it or leave. New Jersey is trying to ban smoking IN YOUR CARS!!! Be pissed at the cops (no one forces them to take a job as a police officer) and the shaddddy politicians (for a good look on politicians check out Hunter Thompsons books such as Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail.... yes its by the same guy that wrote F&L in Las Vegas and he roxors.)

haha, pretty much. here where i live we go down this long nice stretch of highway and race ---- up. its funny, one time my buddy raced a cop off a line in his 5.0 and the cop smiled. 8)

And yes apparently I do help vote in these commie pinkos due to our awesome democratic two party system. Sure theres a third party but when you vote for them all you do is give the Reps or Dems an advantage depending on the situation. Its like choosing the lesser of two evils.
