Re: ---- MY JOB!
Shitty.
I'm kinda going through that right now. My manager runs two departments and doesn't really have time for our small department. Our supervisor doesn't have a clue how to run a department (he is just a tech guy and shouldn't be supervisor, it's annoying). He actually was supervisor once before, but asked to be demoted since he couldn't handle the pressure (I see that happening again, very soon if ---- don't change). I just had meetings with both of them today and I basically layed out how this place needs to be ran, they both said I had great ideas (been talking a lot with other managers on how to sepervise/manage a department). It's all politics at my work, so people get promoted that really shouldn't. I'm basically going to just bust my *** and try to take over the supervisor job myself.

Or, before you quit, I'd ask for a fat raise. Then if they dont give you the raise walk out. Cant hurt to try.
