so...i traded in the wifes 99 grand prix gtp last saturday for an '05 accord ex the loaded model with all options, $30,000, the car now has 278 miles on it, and when you brake hard at highway speeds theres a shimmy in the steering wheel, and tonight the car sat in the driveway for about 4 hours, then i pulled it in the garage and noticed a few puddles of fluid on the driveway, i look underneith it with a flashlight and the ENTIRE bottom side of the tranny is covered in ATF.... >:( WTF is that??? i'm gonna rip a new ass in someone at the honda dealership first thing in the morning, they better give me a new car, ---- this piece of ----, its supposed to be a honda and it needs 2 warrenty claims in the first week? did hondas reliability decrease recently and i didnt here about it? im so pissed i wanna un hook the wastegate on my crx and drive the piss out of it untill it blows up, then i could have $40,000 of worthless garbage courtesy of HONDA......

ok... but you figure if theres one new car you can count on its a honda...wrong... :'( its ok, whoever answers the phone when i call in the morning is gonna have a shitty day i can gaurantee that.....

whoa calm down buddy that attitude isn't gonna get you far, i'm sure they will fix whatever is wrong if you are pleasant for no charge whatsoever. Reason with them politely and you might even get a new replacement.

sounds like at some point the rotors got warped on that car. It can happen pretty quick if someone took a super aggressive test drive, and you won't always notice it unless you get on the brakes pretty hard. Also, before you go freaking out on your dealer, make sure that the ATF leak isn't something simple, like the dipstick not pushed in all the way or a loose inspection plug. If your car was new then the dealer has to check all the fluids before you take delivery (PDI)...the tech may have left one of the plugs loose or something. If they got the car from another dealer, they still have to check them and again, may have left something loose, or maybe even spilled a little while topping it off. Just remember, your dealer's service department will be 1000% on your side if you approach them calmly instead of, "fix my ----, bitches or else I'm gonna ---- all you muthafuckers up and sue your mamas and i want a new car right now." Remember, Hondas are still machines that can break, typically they don't under normal use, but that's what warranty is for. Get your salesperson involved, they will usually be your mouthpiece to the service department and the store's management.

I sell Hondas for a living and trust me on this...if your dealer is following the protocols outlined by Honda you will get taken care of as long as the issues are not caused by the customer (accidents, abuse, etc..).

In short, my advice is to communicate with the selling deale r& your salesperson, and you will most likely get everything taken care of with no problems.

there are lemons with everytype of car. nowadays all car makers... make great cars.
