Whats stupid is the "18 year old" law, where you cant buy fireworks (not even sparklers) if you're under 18. I've gone to the same stupid store every year since I was 10 and bought sparklers and other crap, then when I was 17 they asked me for ID, and I of course was confused and they told me I have to be 18 to buy fireworks.
So apparently it was more dangerous for me as a 17 year old to buy fireworks than it was for me as 10 year old? give me a break...
I miss the days of firecrackers and m80's.. ahh, youth.

Re: Fourth of july
yea, it's illegal here but it's not much of an enforced law. cops usually just roll through the hot spots where people always do them at and just make sure no ones arm has been blown off or doing anything [too] stupid. at either 15 or 16 we're allowed to buy small ---- like sparklers and smoke bombs, but most stands dont really care especially if your with an adult. im 18 now though, so its time to go buy the good ----

It wasn't much of an enforced law in the past but for some reason this year they're cracking down. Don't you just love it when we can't even celebrate our own country's birthday?
Thank you, mr. liberal, the world is so much more safe and sane with you protecting our interests.
Even Hitler would allow this ----.
