ok your going to extremes... of course the car seat helps hold the person... all im saying... and of course your still not getting it... is that these carseats arent all that great for what they say they are... as long as there are no airbags it doesnt matter if anyone has the kid in the front or back seat because in a severe accident the so called child safety seat doesn help... ie the fucken picture i posted... now shut up if you dont get it...

---- it...here this should help...sorry it had to come to this but i guess this is the only way you would get it... crayon style

and dont try and argue it cause its the truth go look it up... if there are no air bags it doenst matter were the car seat goes because in a severe accident the car seat is not a safty device... it is a seat... get it... no ... get over it

I think your missing some very key concepts I was trying to get acrost to you. I never disputed the fact that car seats are not going to ultamatley protect a child in an accident. The point I was trying to make is that car seats will keep your child from flying around the car in the event of an accident.

Placement of the car seat does matter, If you don't think it does I can empiricaly prove it to you. Do you honestly feel like pushing it that far? Common sense should tell you that you should place the child in the area of the car that sustains the least damage when in an accident. This spot is in the middle in the back seats. The child is less likley to come into contact with something in an accident. Do you understand that?

If you want to be immature and post more ms paints conveying the fact that you have no idea what I'm talking about. Feel free to continue making an ass of yourself.

dont worry im not making an ass out of my self... i have been making valid points and useing what is known as proof... ie the websites yada yada... so please proove me wrong... im not hear to gripe about this ... i will bow down and say your write if you proove that putting your kid in the middle of the back seat is safer..cause as long as i can remember car companys have proved its safer to have the kids behind the driver or passanger thats why they put the safty clips above those seats in the back of the car in newer vehicles... so please proove me wrong... i mean ---- if you know more than gm and ford... by all means proove us all wrong... i want you too... seriously go do it...

Those cars with three seating positions in the back seat will be required to have three locations for securing the childseat. However, the center seating position will consist only of a lap belt or lap/shoulder belt and a top tether anchor point. NHTSA will not require manufacturers to install the lower anchorage points for the center rear position. NHTSA gives two reasons in support of this configuration. First, NHTSA claims that a lower anchorage point in the rear center position would make it difficult to install another childseat next to it. The second reason NHTSA gives is to minimize cost. Finally NHTSA claims that the traditional lap belt along with the top tether "should perform essentially as well as the full child restraint anchorage system."
Please tell me you understand the side impact situation.

seriously all of you should watch more photos/videos from ogrish.com ( BTW I think they closed the site now :( ). small cars don`t do ---- on accident, at least not the mild/bad ones, specially a civic/crx of the sort LOL

If i EVER have a kid, I am going to drive something strudy and NOT fast LOL, like a volvo 850 of the sort :6
but again if you are being stupid, not even a tank can save ur ass.

BTW someone should start building thick steel (sch 10 lol)car seats for babies with a steel cover, i bet it will make some $ :-*

Yeah like race seats. Test those at 80mph and show what they are getting for their money.
