Goforth has pulled multiple 1.82-1.87 60' on bald BFGs, in a much shorter wheelbase CRX where weight transfer fucks you on the launch. This is not at an especially well prepped track, just the local 1/8th mile track on a nothing special Thursday night test and tune. But, Goforth is a born driver.

If the track prep was what it is purported to be, I believe the 60' time. I also say for the record that zex_cool is a born driver to be as consistent as he is the first time he ever goes to the track in something as volatile as a 275-300 whp FWD on BFGs.

Good job zex. I've only been to the track once in a stock car and so I don't have much experience with it, but those 60' times looked odd even to me, because of the street tires. But nice! I'm putting a similar setup in my crx - z6 block y8 head, 60 trim t3, ls rods, vitaras, and just some other cheap basic stuff.

Maybe with the traction bar and a bit of boost, I can get some slicks and get a similar time.

Are those BFGs pretty good? I read reviews on them but its hard to believe things mags say...

I've never been to the track and I would prolly suck bualls my first time out... Good work. I don't know much about the classes for drag racing, so with no interior and no cage, but street legal, what class would that put me in?

I believe the times. I pulled a 1.9xxx 60' back with my old EF Hatch with bald Kumhos. Every other time it was around 2.3-2.5, but I just stuck that one time.

Hurry up and get your crap done. They are trying to close the Huntsville drag strip, but they have one open in Moulton now.
