those aint coat hangers either. thats 14g ground wire from when i was a directv installer. i think coat hangers is safer.

ya i got a diy - go to radio shack, ignore the geeks at the counter cause they usually dont know anything, grab two 2 packs of 10w 10ohm wire-wound in line resistors, chop your old clips off, (go jack some off a obd 1 civic at the junkyard) wire resistors on the yellow/black wires and wire the rest up normal solder and heat shring, half roll of e-tape later
