LMAO!!!!! That quote XDEep seriously made me laugh on the floor because it's prolly what I would do too. But I agree with what all of you are saying. I am a computer technician and this RIAA ---- is bullshit. File sharing is too wide------ for them to actually do something about it. The only people that they might even have a small chance of going after is people with 100's of GIG's of files shared on their machine. I just hope they don't find the massive amounts of beastiality porn i like to download. :) lol later guys

I mean this whole RIAA thing is bullshit... its like the Mob boss bullying the Union, and the MOB Boss beeing the RIAA, and the Union beeing the record labels.

The only reason their doing this is to set an example and try to scare you into not doing this, Why because their losing money. The artist isnt losing money. They are. They figure if they go after a few and make examples of them others will succumb to there will and uninstall the programs.

In reality how much does an artist actually make off a CD. ????? im guessing if anything 1$ after the record label takes its dues for manufacturing, advertising and distributing its corporate phsycobable to the masses.

and you the consumer ends up paying for all this crap.

It all comes down to "Money"

welcome to the "Corparate State of America"

As far as I knew artists signed a contract to be paid 1/4 million or whatever to record album _X_ and that the record company generates all revenue (whoever produced their record) there after from sales.

Ya know, if they REALLY want to bitch about it, ---- them. Let's boycott them. Then what the ---- are they going to do? If we(the consumer)stop buying there stupid ass cd's and stop going to there concerts and buying there ----, they wouldn't be dick. They would be begging people to come to concerts and buy cd's. They just need to stop bitching. Like that one band"Good Charolette" says. If money was such a problem, well they got mansions, I think we should rob them.

Those stupid ass's need us wheather they want to admit it or not. If it weren't for us they wouldn't be living in 10,000 square foot mansions, driving $750,000 cars and flying all over the world. I call a boycott!!!!!!! >:(

as much as i think they are over-reacting to what they are losing, they are losing $$ as a business. i see both sides of this issue and i'm probably going to get flamed for it, but oh well. if the artist is getting $1 off each cd think about if half of those that want to have a copy don't buy because it's so easy to get with excellent quality now a days. i know i would.

let's not forget what happend to napster and the unfortunate few that were arrested, fined, and jailed. it does seem like b.s. especially if you want to sample something before buying it; i hate nothing more than buying a cd because of the first song that gets airplay is great, but the whole rest of the the cd sucks ass.

it's very similar to if you owned a business and someone came in and just took inventory off your shelf and walked out the door without paying. the artist and recording industry is the business and the songs/cds are their inventory.

now the industry was smart they would come out with their own file sharing business that was significantly cheaper because of technology and overhead and just charge a small fee for music and movies. i think apple just partnered with something like this for their new music players...smart.

don't hate the player...hate the game. (i've been saying this long before bad boys 2 so don't flame me for that either). alright...flame on boys and girls.
