Just warning you guys not to buy from him.

On December 5 i paypaled him 67 bucks for some flanges to build a manifold, and i figured they would take a week or so to deliver

Well two weeks pass by and i still get nothing, so i emailed him, and he replied with the common "oh they should be going out within a day or two" excuse, about 12 days later i email him and he replies that he still hasnt sent it out cause the post office wont ship anything till after christmas. Now this is bullshit...

Basically he said he would ship it out, then says he cant till after christmas, and its been a week since that and i still dont have those ------- flanges i need, and now i have a fellow HMT member who has to wait a month longer to get his manifold all because some dumb ---- read Hotrex's "Guide to Shipping"

PS - when i ordered mine he said like next monday, then like 20 days later i filed the fraud report. sucked i had to go that route, but CivicZC is having the same issue now too.

Exploited Racing can lick my balls. Douche bag won't reply to my emails and I haven't recieved my ---- or a tracking number. I ordered them like 3 weeks ago.

I'm going to file fraud through paypal on monday. So he still has a day to deal with this. Maybe he'll read this.

If you are reading this give me(Alec Barber) my money back. I don't want your shitty flanges anymore.

i'll have to say weiRacing is best choice.
i would vouche for Aaron.. he done good for me.
though shipping between countrys is time consuming.
but he does follow through with good communication and replys promptly

and i wouldn't go any where else.

thanks for the vouches guys. ;) i think part of the problem with exploited is he takes payments before he is ready to ship. if someone requests something from me and i have it ready to go i give my paypal info and ship as soon as the payment clears. if i don't have it in stock i will withhold my paypal info until i am ready to ship. i hate having money over my head for even a day. although, sometimes when i reply to someone a couple weeks down the road that i am ready to ship their order i don't hear back... i assume they got their flanges elsewhere which is fine. it isn't a big deal because i can usually sell the stuff to someone else. i am constantly trying to build up my inventory but you guys keep depleting it! all i ask is that people be patient if i don't have what they need in stock because i only get an opportunity to do this stuff every other couple weeks. sometimes timing is great for someone, sometimes they have to wait a bit. i always make a strong effort to communicate with my customers because i feel through internet purchases that is important. i know when i buy something online i like to know exactly what is going on because i don't want to get hosed either.

Any luck with my stuff Aaron?;) And as far as Exploited goes, he continues to shoot himself in the foot. People are getting pissed with him on H-T and now here, he'll be gone soon.
The only thing is, he's one of the few guys that can do S.S.

I sent him my intake manifold gasket last week to make my new ITB flange for me. it got to him on the 27th so we'll see how it goes from there for me....

Yeah that kind of sucks. I read a few posts about people getting fired up on H-T due to that situation. He has alot of good parts to offer :-\ It's too bad.

hey darren, i'm going to try again this week. i don't know how far i'm going to get though. i don't really have the proper tooling for ss but i'll try my best. exploited does seem to have a large selection but perhaps he is trying to do too much. as for me i'm busy enough with just HMT peeps. i haven't gone to h-t and i probably won't- atleast not before this becomes a full time thing for me....

he had some nice product. it took me like 3 weeks to get just a t3 flange. now he doesn't even sell honda manifold flanges anymore, ------- shitbag.

wierracing would be the best choice, or go with typert. just make sure you get the right flange, cuz the one i got doesn't fit my F22A1 :-[ :-X :'(

Thats cool Aaron, if you really can't do S.S. I guess I'll have to go with Mild steel, but I REALLY don't want to. Please keep trying though, I'm pretty sure HSS endmills will do S.S., have you tried?, I have to get started on my stuff ASAP if I want to be ready for April. *end of thread hi-jack*

I also read that ---- over on HT, and just from his response of "maybe you don't have a B series head" doesn't seem to be very good customer service when in the end it really was a fucked up flange. ::)
I figured he's done selling here until he gets that straightened out, and it doesn't seem like he going to get much better.

Aaron, you don't need to go to HT. They hear about good customer service/product and will eventually start contacting you. I've seen your name over there before. This goes for other websites as well. I've gone to honda sites I've never been to before and searched for my name and found it. It's a good feeling when you know you only do business here at HMT and the members go to other sites and ------ a good word. Pretty soon you'll be swamped with orders, especially with everyone else falling off. ;)

Update

this is an email i got from him.

Geeze. We have a big back order right now.. your right flanges dont take a month to make... BUT when your supplies take that long the flanges also get delayed. The supplies are arriving monday and flanges will be cut monday as well. I will be sending you an extra T3 flange for free because of the wait. My appologizes. Somethings i cant control... i was expecting the supplies in a week ago which is why i told you i could have them shipped then but i dont know why they are taking so long.

what an assclown... he knew he didnt have ----.. yet he was counting on it... and still took my money. Thats a very bad way to run a business. Im sort of glad i didnt pay for the materials out of my own pocket, or the guy i was making the manifold for would have backed out by now, and i would be stuck with a F22 manifold i would have no use for.

And a T3 manifold for free for my troubles.... wooptie--------wooo... i dont need a free T3 manifold, I need that ---- here overnight.

Yeah, when i ordered mine i asked him on aim when they would ship, he said monday, this was on like a friday.

I'm just not impressed. The guy did alot to try to make me happy afterwards, refunded me 25% of the amount I paid, but in the end it wasnt about getting a good price, I wanted my flanges in a timely fashion, and he didn't come through at all like he said, and the only way I got results was from filing a paypal complaint and bitching through email every single day from that day til they arrived.

Also, be careful, his site has a glitch, I noticed that when both Alec and I ordered ours, if you add a Tial flange, it shows up as a Tial flange but then when you check out it changed to a t26 supra flange.

He also emailed alec when i filed my complaint, most likely cause I warned him that he was about to get a second complaint filed on him, and told him they'd be shipping out almost immediately. Alec still hasnt gotten his. Don't claim to be able to do what you can't do is all I have to say.

The other thing I noticed he did was that when the other excuses didn't work, he pointed me to his website disclaimer that said orders could take several months, but you told me 3 weeks ago they'd go out that monday? wtf make up your mind.

what you need to do, is take down your flange offerings, build up some stock of the main honda and turbo flanges, and then come back and sell off your pre-made stock. That is after you pay for a commercial sellers sponsorship on HMT.

Wow, haven't got to post here for awhile due to working and other crap. But exploitedracing is a certified douchebag now. Because of his shotty ass business practices -------- hasn't been able to make my manifold. I don't blame ghetto in any way at all though. Just hope exploited gets the flange out soon enough so I can finish my project before the spring semester starts up.

He just sent me a tracking number. It says it hasn't been picked up yet though. I would of rather had my money back but I'll take the flanges. Probly get here next monday. Thats awesome only a month to get some simple flanges.

Stay away from exploited racing. He gave me that same lame supply excuse, but 2 weeks ago he said he had them done and being shipped the next day.

What an assbag, I vote for an hmt boycott against his ass.

My question is why the hell would you buy from this guy anyway? I haven't bought any flanges or oil lines from anybody yet (made them myself) but if I did I would definetly buy them for weir or stealth no questions asked, because they are longterm HMT members like myself. You got what you deserved. HMT is like a family and even though I dont post much anymore lately, I would always go to a fellow HMT'er for anything I needed turbo wise. You suck.

Its not easy first pushing into a new market like this one where everyone wants the parts INSANTLY. Im working as hard as i can to get everyones orders filled as quickly as possible but my steel supplier keeps running out of steel which i didnt really expect, not to mention other parts i order like end mills take a week to arrive.

I expect to have your flanges done sooner but something always comes up.. lately when making flanges i been cutting a few extra each time so when someone else orders that flange i will already have it instock and will be able to ship orders extremely quick. Sorry for those just tryin me out. Just be patient with me.. im only one person here filling these orders which isnt that easy. I have a lot of companys that order in bulk too which makes these smaller jobs sometimes delayed as well.

Business is business no matter how small it is.......you shouldn't be taking the orders if you can't fill them. I know stuff comes up but I've read this many times in the last few months.

I understand that business is business. When i do these larger jobs like i said, i always cut extras too for small buyers like yourselves. I havent really been selling flanges for that long.. not even 2 months id say. So im sorry that a few posts like this one have come up. I hate seeing stuff this way which is why i work every day of the week trying to get ahead. A big thing that threw me off really bad was my B-Series flange print being wrong... so i cut like 30 B-Series flanges.. sent em out.. and they were all wrong.. so i gotta cut 30 more.. and there still slightly off... so i gotta get em all back and fix them and send them back out.. that REALLY messed with orders and delivery of parts. By the way the B-series being wrong wasnt my fault.. it was the guy who i had write the programs fault. Last time i trust anyone making programs for me.

You know, I don't get it. For years I have been telling you guys I have any flanges you may need. I send stuff out within days of when they are ordered but I stll see posts Like "this douche or that douche wont send me my flanges or where do I get some flanges" I have made a pretty decent donation within the last few months so don't say that's it. That's cool though, whatever, Just seems like some of you would want to buy from someone that has been a member since this site started(almost) and has had many successful sales here. :-\

I was going to order from you but you don't have the stuff I want. I was looking for .5" thick stainless steel "B" series flanges and .5" thick T3 and T4 ss flanges. That is the only reason I think people ordered from ExploitedRacing.

I know that is the only reason I got them from him and not you or somebody else. 98ctr

I ordered from him because he was one of the only guys that would CNC/cut an intake manifold flange for me for a decent price. he was really cool over the emails and all...I just hope I get my stuff in a decent amount of time as well. it sucks to see companys offering a great service get tripped up cause they can't keep up with demand because of lack of help...none the less good luck

exploited, it's good that you are explaing yourself.
communication is the key to the business.
most people are sympathetic to problems that arise.
just be honest and tell people when you shipped their item, not when you might.
you might want to hold on taking orders until all your pending ones are filled.
