Ever get flamed? (Sort of a rant)
Ever get flamed for going turbo? I was over my neighbor's house today.. and he freaking flipped out on me about my involvement with the turbocharging of my cousins Accord. He was going on and on about how "you cant just throw on any old turbo on that car and you'll blow it up" and blah blah blah. How do you guys think I should explain this to him? He kept nit-picking about the internals, and the turbo, the manifold, everything.. I know I'll prove him wrong when Chris is boosted and he's left in the dust.. but hey.
Sorry for the rant I suppose, it just made me mad by getting attacked like that, because I was talking about getting a DSM manifold with a 16G turbo for the Accord and he started flipping out.

what the ***** the difference, that kids a tool if you ask me. use whatever works...am i right? your friends just jealous cause his rx7 is slow. this reminds me of my friend from school. he has a 92 240sx and its auto. he thinks he is the best and most knowledgable about everything nissan. but still he has a completely bone stock 240 thats slow and its auto. sucks for him

so basically his argument is, whoa if you put out more power your going to have less reliablility, wow he's a genius. basically you all were arguing for no reason. iam sure if you said you put a nitrous system on your buddies car he would say the same thing. maybe he would say the same thing if you told him you put a I/H/E on it too. Some people argue for the sake of arguing. I do it all the time to my buddy even over stupid ---- just to ruffle his feathers and ---- with him. or maybe he was interested and your arguing was answered some of his question and he will be asking to turbo his car next week :P

Tim was over there too, talking about Nitrous in his Camaro.. Eric had an argument with him too over that lol.
And turbocharging his car? He's not.. it would be too hard to turbo the 13B anyways.. And he has two RX-7's, both NA, one blown up, the other dinged up.. the blown up one he's going to "build up" as an NA.. the other, he's gonna beat the ***** off of til she blows, I guess..

yeah i ended up getting into several fights at school when the big v8 hicks thoguht that they knew hondas. i pull my crx into the shop and get a few of them to help me pull the bitch out of the back of the crx (yeah, i hauled the zc in the back of the crx) and after i get it out they are like, that motor isn't going to fit, it is a daul cam, im like, the ---- if it wont. then they started saying that i needed a specail wiring harness and all this other ---- and im like...yeah okay i gotta swap 5 wires around and then it will wrok fine, then they go off on sayin gthat i need to use the regular computer and that it wont start at all with the stock computer. well i got it in there perfectly fine, with the si harness and used the si computer and it started fine.
then, when im trying to get some ------ specs for the bearing caps the shop teacher just got this new software that has every model car in there nad he is like, well what kind of car is it out of, im like. it is out of a honda crx, but..it is a JDM model, not a USDM model. I explained it to him about 5 times, (seriously 5 times) and he kept on trying to find specs for the bearing caps on a sohc crx. i ended up walkin to a network port where i plugged my laptop in and went to the zc site and found the specs myself.

next story i got into an argument with a kid that was saying my motor was a gsr motor and im like,y eah i wish it was, but it is just a zc. he is like, ---- that, that looks just like a zc...the kid was ------- stupid.
this kind of goes abck to the "stupidest thing anyone has ever said about your car" and this one kid trys to tell me that he put 3 chips into his non turbo talon and then he was kicking all these eclipse gsx's and ---- ... im like...right...okay..sure...

then there is this other kid that when i drove up to a gathering was offering me $1000 for my crx and he was saying how he had a friend who added a cold air intake and a set of headers with a "stand along fuel mangment system" (note the direct quote from f&f) and it would make a CRX a 10 second car. ... I'm like. yeah okay.

i have lots more stories but finsih that project and tell the guy to shut the ---- up and then smoke his rx7.
he is obviously just jealious and think sthat only cars that came stock w/ turbos can have turbos...but whatever

yeah its usuallly the old school guys that think they know thier ----, a shop teacher at my old HS worked for comptech, and i showed him my z6 turbo, and i told him the best way to upgrade feul management is to put bigger injectors in and control those with a type of computer, like hondata, uberdata, vafc. and he told me taht it would be better to put a 5th injector in the intake. what a dumbass, and ---- comptech, snobby *** bitches
