I could write a substantial essay on why we are wrong to support Israel but i don't want to hijack this thread, basically though there was a ceasefire, Hamas honored it by not fireing rockets for 4 months, Israel tried to assasinate a Hamas leader and killed several people thus breaking the ceasefire, then hamas fired rockets in retaliation, but everyone is taking israels side, not to mention the past 18 months of blockades, and the fact that the gaza strip is essentially a collection of refugee camps.
All this comes from the UN and an Israeli human rights group called B'Tselem, and others.

My point is that, while on some level buk is a nice guy for an anti-semitic, every time he posts I want to stab him in the forehead with a pencil. Factor in that 90% of the Jews I meet are hip, laid back Americans (---- Yeah!) and I forget that the dirty whining persecution-complex bundles of negativity from northern Jersey/NYC exist. That makes it really super easy for me to arbitrarily choose a side based off of no real world information. If I wanted real world information I have some FPGA texts I've been slacking off and not reading. I could really give a ---- what horrible things a couple factions of religious extremists on the other side of the world are doing to each other, or which side is more to blame.
Get with the pogrom, or GTFO!
