Energy Drinks... Whos down?
 

God, this past year I have been trying so many different brands of energy drinks. There are so many new ones coming out. But which ones are the best in your own opinion and why? Judging on Taste and effect. So far My favorite drink by taste is Amp by mountian dew and effect by Wired. I stopped buying redbull just because 8oz wasnt enough and I would have to buy 2 at a time. Rockstar's is also another favorite.

Just curious, since it seems everyday I have been spending like 10 dollars on energy drinks, something's gotta keep me going late at night working on all this ----!

ok so grind it all up and stick it in ur gatorade, stimulants is stimulants just these are a little stronger than caffiene and all legal and synthetic

I couldn't stand the first taste of red bull, and have since not had any interest in the energy drink craze. I do consume about 3 two liters of Diet Pepsi a day, if that counts. Morning, noon, night, bedtime, it really doesn't matter to me. I'd say I have enough problems. :-\

we don't get red bull in canada, or atleast not the good red bull, my mom brought some back from san fran when se was there, I tried it and it tasted like ----, i thought it was old, lol.

Well I use to drink rc edge cola plus 3 b vitamins mostly what is found in alot of these energy drinks. Kept me goin for 12 hour days+ night school no problem.

I was hooked on Stackers for a few weeks to study for exams; staying up for three days STRAIGHT is not a fun experience though so I quit.

amp is the ----
no fear makes sum drink that is pretty good
rockstar is good
jones is good tasting as well


my friend collects the cans and hes got like 50 different kinds so far

they make this ginseng gum, it tastes nasty but keeps you up; and it makes your mouth smell like a buddhist monk's inner rectum.

When I wake up everyday I drink an Arizona ginseng tea. Helps the juices get going. Redbull and vodka are awesome for energy. Make sure you have 3 or 4. ;D

We have red bull in Canada...you just have to go to chinese type stores usually.....

My vote is Red Bull and vodka...not a fan of vodka but with Red Bull its the Dank ---- Nea!!

About 10 years ago I used to buy this ---- called Jolt Cola. Tasted kinda like coke that has been let flat for an hour, but the ---- was pure NRG. Get a hold of that in a bodega or mom/pop store. Good ----.

Red Bull & Vodka is pretty good, it's actually cheaper to buy the mixed drink vs redbull by itself at most bars.

Has anyone every tried sparnks it an energy drink but it has %6 alcohol. you get enegized, while getting a buzz. Its pretty good

Is that spelled right? Ive heard of Sparks but that has alcohol in it...But anyway I use Rockstars...But also i barely use Energy Drinks. The drink that ever gave me the most energy was Jolt...Man that really gets me going.

my favroite is bawls you can buy it by the case at www.thinkgeek.com it taste so much better than everything else and its just as strong if not stronger oh and its called bawls all the more reason to get it

I like XS Energy, but then again I keep getting it for free. Also- weird herbal supplement called Rhodiola. Kinda like a mild amphetamine, but not so ------- with you. And if that doesn't work, adderoll. A heavy regimen of adderoll. Everyone in the world basically has ADD at least a little bit, everyone needs adderoll. Just be careful if you decide you need to stay awake THAT bad...

why don't you guys just get some sleep?

Well I know the feeling of having to stay up all night to do something, whether it's a car or school, or just flat out video games. When I'm doing something of interest to me (i.e. video games, working on car) I have no problem staying up. But for homework, school, and work that's a whole different story. Boring and get mucho sleepy, but it's nothing a little 15 nap can't help out. :-\

But if you guys insist on an energy supplement, just get some real ginseng root and chew on that. There's also a ginseng drink that has the root in it (it's some chinese drink). Try it out.

IM addicted to rockstar energy drinks i drink like 2 a day and if i really need the energy 2 yellowjackets and a rockstar have me bouncin off the walls :o

I buy that redbull 4 case deal all the time, hate the taste but I have trouble sleeping so im all fucked up the next day. And I pretty much look for anything with Tornio(I think thats what its called) It's like bull testosterone, or some ----.

It's like they've been making this ---- for 15 years.. I've been drinking it for at least 10 years by now.. Ahhh, more then twice the caffine of coke/pepsi.

they have some generic one's here called 'celeste red drink' or some ---- like that, it's just like red bull except a 12 pack is only 1.99 instead of 1.99 each, i get these b/c they're as good as red bull, but cheap as ----. also when i'm feeling fat, i get the no carb no calorie ones.

In arch school there were many times we would be up 3-4 days straight with just a few hours of sleep. (A friend fell asleep at the wheel one time and ended up in a wheat field...but that's anouther story)

...Anyways, we tried everything, I came up with this concoction....

1 can red bull
1 liter of Mt Dew(mixed)
1 small can of V8(not mixed in but drink it seperatly)

Sometimes we'd wash that down with an herbal form of Ephederane (still avalible at GNC)

The red bull and mt dew are obvious, but the V8 actually helps when you come down two hours later, and you need to take more.

Also what really helped staying up 48+ hours and still being worth a damn, was actually eating a FULL meal every 4 hours. <---- That really is to help trick your body into thinking its not time to be sleeping. Most of why you get tired in the middle of the night and morning is because your body gets depleated of energy, adding more sugar and caffene may help but w/o food it makes you crash 2x as hard
