Of course a "real" turbo is going to produce more power and be more efficient, but that does seem to be a pretty good system. It adds roughly 100lbs. and provides a 15 second burst every couple minutes. Not bad. I'm not going to go trade my turbo for it, but it's a step up for the electric era.

Yeah, It looks like a good system.
I didn't notice any mention of fuel mngmt.
But, they did mention that it might be a good alternative for those who drive cars where no turbo kit is availible.

Yeah, I didn't see any mention of fuel management whatsoever. I'm very curious as to what they used. they also talked about tuning and such, but how the hell would you tune?
What do you mean turbo kit? Who buys turbo kits anymore?

I think with an electric system (as far as boost goes)...It might be some sort of switch or potentiometer. Perhaps electronic control?

Hmmmm...you would still have to add fuel though, even if it was an electric system because the motor is still gas powered and needs fuel to create more power.
EDIT: Nevermind, I saw the FMU.

It's the same thing as a sc system. But with an electric sc.
Instead of buying a "real" supercharger... You're buying an electric supercharger with the electrical system that goes along with it.
Basiclly, you treat everything else in the sc system the same (fuel mngmt., etc...) as you would on a regular sc system.

Yeah, I missed the part about the FMU. I'm curious as to what the a/f ratio looked like. I didn't see any graphs on those dyno sheets.
