edm vs usdm

Default edm vs usdm
i currently have a p28-a01 ( usdm manual ) and i wonder if a p28-g00 ( edm manual ) will work the same with my car...

as far as I know yes, unless you get that oddball EDM OBD2 del sol P28, in which case I wouldn't know what would happen.

i checked on www.pgmfi.org and the code says obd1... its because i can grab it for 70ish$

EDM is missing some of the stuff USDM has like knock sensor, PA sensor, ELD, etc.

But if that is cheap to you then buy it just dont expect it to be trouble free
