Re:ecu question

im not a pro, im sure Jeff or Beau would know for sure.. but i know that 88 and 89 tegs are different models then 90-93!! thats like dropping an 87 CRX Si ECU into my 88 Si? doesnt sound like it would work. Besides, wouldnt a 90-93 ecu have better "technology" advancements like better tuning and what not??

Re:ecu question

Bah.. People, if it's chipped it can be almost any ECU you want..

Infact, if you work it correctly, you can map VTec on a PM6. It's rather simple in fact..

Dude, use whatever ECU plugs into your harness.

The only difference between a PM6, PM7, PR4 blah blah blah.. is the fuel/spark maps, maybe rev limit. All of which will be different once it's chipped.
