i have two blocks now. i just want to get one working so i can get the integra up and running. then probably building the other block, eventually.

pistons seem to be NPR. any one tried these, or know anything about them?

same thing, just one comes with bearings and ----.

then i found these rods, know nothing bout them either rods

just gonna use them as a stock replacement to see if i can get everything working. first time going this deep in. :-\

I bought NRP high compression piston, but didnt tried yet because I change my plan. For me only by looking it doesnt look strong. Maybe the same quality as stock one. Dunno for the rod sorry. Funny because I was looking on rod and piston right now on ebay lol But eagle rod and JE piston kit. I think you get what you pay for sadly :(

They are made like stock cast pistons. The rods won't work with those pistons because the rods are for floating pins. Now those rods would work with a nice set of new Ross Racing B series forged pistons with rings for $380........which I happen to have ;)

Pistons are same as stock cast junk.Get some SRP's or find some used forged pistons on here or HT.Those rods are good to go they are the generic Tuner Toys/Cat/Scat/Crower Econo/Eagle etc etc.

Or some SRP pistons, wiseco pistons or anything that has circlips to hold the floating wrist pin in place. I made that mistake when I bought a set of pistons for my TT rods. and ended up having to buy a new set.

If you plan on just using them as stock replacement why not just get your stock rods shotpeened and reuse them with those pistons and some ARP rod studs?

I had a friend who used those pistons on a built d15 project. On 22 pounds he made 304 whp. Everything else failed, but not the pistons. But i don't know if that was just a stroke up luck or not, so the risk is still there.

I might try a set of those rods, I wish someone would make a set of Low C/R cast pistons for cheap with a floating Pin :y
