i support whatever keeps my life simple, fair and free. requiring people to have a permit for a gun is not a bad idea, regardless if its not in the constitution or not. federal income tax is not in the constitution but i dont see you refusing to pay the tax, i thought you were such a ------- baddass johnny, you ------- rebel you. ::)

connecticut rejected the amendment so therefore i should not have to pay income tax.

i believe its 3/4ths of the states have to agree... doesn't mean you can get out of it 8)

i dont care what the other 44 states think, they all suck O0


on a lighter note, i got a call an hour ago from a detective at the police department. my CCW permit is ready for pickup tomorrow :6 :6

any recommendations for a gun?

They give them out at the PD?

Get something small that you won't mind carrying everyday. Big guns suck if you have to carry it everyday. You don't want to lug a cannon around with you on a daily basis. :S

you have to do the application through the PD they take your prints and send them to the FBI for a backround check and then they give a temp permit and i have to take it to the public safety dept for a hard copy. crazy thing is i applied 2 weeks ago and they said it would be 6-10 weeks. i should have a gun by the weekend O0.

i liked the glock 9 i fired at the NRA course but i was recommended a .40. i guess ill check out whatt hey have at the gun store and find something comfortable.
