main relay is fucked on my car... i hot wired it to run and it runs like ------- ----

is that just because its hotwired? or does hotwiring the main relay act the same as if the relay was working?

its jerking aand back firing cutting out running like ---- :-X

its acting like my truck which runs rich as ---- when you get on the throttle it bogs to ---- then eventually picks up power... lame :(

this didnt stop me from doing my first sweet crx burn out tho >:D

help me get this ------ running so hmt tax return and paycheck boost madness can occur :6

Get the relay man. Im not a electronics guy but I dont think hardwiring the main relay is just as good as a rad. fan on a external switch.

ha, "your car". bullshit we all know you stole it after hot wiring it

and the two times my friends and i hot wired cars, they ran fine, a civic and a chevy. throwing any cels or anything?

no cels... but the battery light was on... the alternators new.. battery is new...

i will get a video of it tomorrow...

sitting in the crx while its kicking like that was fun... now i know how a can of paint feels in a shaker >:D


dont mean hot wiring ignition.. i guess what i should have said was jumped the main relay?

religious insults dont fly too well when i know the person isnt joking or isnt just doing it as part of the kekeke band wagon.

Check grounds, check the power wire from the laternator that goes into the underhood fusebox, check the fuses in the underhood fuse box. Get rid of the battery light and we go from there.

Do you know if what you are experiencing is an ignition miss?

i only have a 3 hour window that i can work on the car each day :X

ill recheck the grounds tomorrow.... havent checked fuses yet...

the car idles fine no flicker or anything and if it was ignition miss it wouldnt idle right... i guess :-X

broke down and went to the dealership picked up a brand new main relay.. got home plugged it in.. still had to jump it to get her running ;D

so what should i look for if i have to jump the main relay.. even if its brand new from the dealership :-X


figured my battery problem was from something alternator related... didnt have time to check underhood fuses but willl do so tomorrow... i got raped for 75 bucks :-\

so the shifter is fucked... and i dont know how to adjust it to make it shift smoother... takes aalot of effort to get the fucker in gear...

also the clutch :-X

for it to engage... you have to take your foot off of it all the way :P i know from yuriney you adjust it from the nut at the end of the clutch cable but when i was turning it.. it just kept turning :-X

so theres 3 things

main relay brand new still needs to be jumped...
shifter fucked to helll takes alot of effort to get it into Reverse or first... everthing else is fine... so im guessing its off just a bit? idk..

and clutch engagement point adjustment... :-[

tomorrow will be alternator madness :-X

everything else works perfect.. doesnt over heat.. all signal lights work... oil seems ok... i just continued raping it arround the block till the battery died yesterday :P aand some nice burn outs 8)

when my main relay took a ---- it blew the alternator solenoid fuse under the dash check that.. this is your crx right?

alternator selonoid fuse... hahahahahah time to whoop out the repair manual :1

its right under the steering column where the rest of the fuses are in the car. check that and check the underhood fuse box on the shock tower

got it up on bricks got the alternator out gotta play with it tomorrow to drop it... pretty sure the alternator is the reason battery isnt charging even tho its new... it sat for a bit :(

i cant win with the caar tho :-X it stopped starting cause the clutch cable needs adjusting and i dont remmeber how yuriy adjusted it... the nut at the end of the thing the cable is connected to just keeps spinning and spinning :-X so i gotta tighten it to adjust the clutch cause the pedal all the way to the floor aint enough to get the fucker engaged (or disengaged??) to start the car >:(

---- me... eh i cant go two seconds without doing a burn out O0 just testing the axles O0

i cant say ive ever been this happy and pissed off at anything in my life... haha the burn outs make the working in the freezing cold worth it.. .and the fact that the cars practically a go kart is awesome O0 i didnt expect it to be that fast but the cars got get up and gooooooooooo O0

cant wait for tomorrow.. when more mayhem ensues.. haha

it's not tightening enough to get it disengaged. which means your clutch is fucked. my 4-door LX is the same way. dontcha just looove cable trannies

I'm not patient enough to read most of your ---- and I didn't even catch what kind of car this is, but if your battery is dieing/dead that would be the first thing you should replace. I've seen Honduhs do stupid ---- over a low battery. Put a known good battery in and go from there. :l

car accident in mount clemens.. towed the car to detroit ::)
wasnt even snow... just wet ground and barely any accumulation.. i dont think the flurries were even a factor in the ------- accident.. it was the exit to the car wash full of water and had iced over part of it :-X
