your car is a 88-91, any freaking honda key will open it, you just gotta jiggle it up and in and out while trying to turn it on, the tumblers in those cars are so wore down i can unlock them and start them in under a minute using any honda key

Honda can cut you a key with just the VIN. They are supposed to, but often do not ask for ID or proof of ownership. I only got a valet key with my car when I bought it. So I had to get a master key made. No ID asked for, just the VIN.

yea, i took my vin in and they called my mother cause the car is registrered in her name. key didn't work, so i took apart my lock and got the 4 digit code. and then just as i was about to try the new key, some guy walked up with my old one.... hahaha.
so anyways i replace my timing belt, and the damn thing wont start now. its off one tooth, so i'll fix it in the morning. another night in hell.
