I still have yet to figure out why people follow drifting after seeing it for the first 5 minutes. :-\

some people must drift in order to deliver tofu to a hotel on a mountain top.

whatching initial D are we......ha i saw that for the first time like 2 weeks ago..

Re:Drifting RC's video (kicks ass!)

we use pvc tires....cut them to desired width and mount it on the rim and you will be sliding just like them....it also helps to have locked diffs..

Re:Drifting RC's video (kicks ass!)

by locked diffs do you mean JB weld them?????

-------- did this to his R/C ha ha ha

PVC pipe? really?

damm what about the tape trick>? does that also work?

i have an old tamiya that came with a touring OPEL body i forget what chasis it is I tthink Its a TA-02 or something..

the other is a HPI mini RS4 its got a golf body thats beat to ----!

Re:Drifting RC's video (kicks ass!)

yeah the tape trick will work but, it will not last long either. your best and cheepest thing to do is buy some ABS pipe the black kind and just cut it down....i drift the hpi pro 2 and tamiya TL-01...but any all wheel drive rc will drift though....

Re:Drifting RC's video (kicks ass!)

i might ad if your thinking of getting the yokomo drift kit it is the same exact thing as the associated TC3...it doesnt even come with bearings....and the drift rings and wheels it comes with are total junk...just buy a body from yokomo but not the drifter kit and it wont cost as much..

yeah ill stick to what i have and upgrade my parts..eventually...im not paying 200+ dollars on another R/c...---- dat!

ill look into the PVC piping when i get off work...i think RenR has Pics of my R/C..ill take some later...
