Hahah that post about double clutching is funny.. but do this is better:

AND THIS IS ONLY USEFUL TO DOWNSHIFT!!

You in 3rd, then let off gas, push clutch in, shift into neutral, rev match to 2nd gear rpm, fast put clutch in and put in 2nd gear, drop clutch and continue driving...

this is done in less than 1.5 seconds or so...

you're such a jerkoff why would it take 1.5 seconds to downshift. when i drive around normally it doesn't take me a full second to shift gears...

i downshift faster than i upshift. I just hold the pedel to the floor, and quickly push the clutch in and shift down, preferably from 4th to 3rd, 3rd to 2nd i ussually miss the gear, and end up rapping out the engine. But 4rth to 3rd looks really cool, cause its done in a split second, giving the motor just enough free time to reach the proper rpm's.

rev matching is for autocross, you revmatch because when you are taking crazy *** corners usually people do whats called leftfoot breaking, "but how do you shift with out the clutch

??" you yank the shifter out of gear while pushing the gas moderately as soon as it comes out of gear you pull the shifter into the gear that you are downshifting to without the clutch. the transmission has what are called syncros, and when they line up and spin the same speed you can shift without the clutch. this is why you can shift gears whle the car is off. I bet I lost everyone on that ----. if you watch vids on the net with japanese drift racing they do some crazy crap with their feet. keep an eye on that stuff, its pretty interesting.

yeah, for about a week, i was shifting without my clutch. I dont know why, i just got good at ti, and it worked. no strain on my old clutch. But for some reason, i havent been able to do it recently.

What the ----... Why the hell is there another stupid post on double clutching. I don't want to copy Beau, but he did make a good point in the first post about double clutching. Do all you guys drive dump trucks?
