Hmmmm?

That isn't "double clutching", double clutching comes from sprung hub centric friction plates, or multiple plate clutches; where you need to clutch once to disengage and again to engage.

That's just rev matching, which is something anyone in road racing, or carting knows to do.

Or mostly anyone who knows how a clutch works, it's why heel toe downshifting gives you smoother transition lines.

Yea but letting the clutch out in neutral isn't double clutching, it's rev-matching, which is something they teach you in carting, where they have dog boxes, and shifting from high to low will make your little diff buck like crazy, you'd think straight cut would be better but no sir.

Double-clutching traditionally is where you need to clutch once to disengage and once again to engage.

Isn't that what that guy in the video was doing

Nah he's re-engaging the clutch in neutral to stop the gears from moving before shifting.

Transmissions with synchronizers don't necessarily need you to do this, but it makes for smoother shifting.

I'm just waiting for Bone to come say his bit.

Might be two sides of the same coin, I'm pretty sure that for multiple puck clutches you need to let them stop for a sec to get them to engage smoothly, as well as the transmission gearbox.

Lets just label it all driving and go from there.
