Hmmmm?
That isn't "double clutching", double clutching comes from sprung hub centric friction plates, or multiple plate clutches; where you need to clutch once to disengage and again to engage.
That's just rev matching, which is something anyone in road racing, or carting knows to do.
Or mostly anyone who knows how a clutch works, it's why heel toe downshifting gives you smoother transition lines.

Double-clutching traditionally is where you need to clutch once to disengage and once again to engage.

Clutched to disengage and again to engage....
Transmissions with synchronizers don't necessarily need you to do this, but it makes for smoother shifting.
