DIY stash can
okay well i was drinking some beers lastnight and started thinking about this stash can i had made a long time ago out of a coke can. i knwo everybody has probly seen them but i decided to make another lastnight out of a beer can and post it up. sorry for the shitty pics but my camera phone blows goats.
first you start with the beer or what ever can you decide to use. i got out my mug to empty out the can into. you need two cans, drink i mean empty the first one as you normally would and then for the next one take a knife and poke a hole in the bottom and start to drain it into the mug. it flows quicker if you poke a hole in the side also.
then you carefully go around the top edge with a razor blade. you want it as close to the very top as possible. just got around it a few times with some pressure and it will start to give. next step is to go find a jar or bottle that woudl fit into the can and has a cap to it. i found that the long olive jars work good and spice containers work pretty good too.
then you break out your welding helmet and the JB and weld the bottle lid to the cans top. wait for it to dry :1
then you get the plaster of paris out and mix it up. it says 2 parts plaster and one part water.
then pour it into the can. about a little more then half way up just so that it doesn't over flow when you put the bottle in
then you put the bottle with the top on it into the plaster, you might need to put a phone book on top to keep it from coming up while drying.
let it dry for awhile and your done. i let mine sit overnight, but i don't think you have to let it sit for that long.
now put whatever you want in it and try not to drink it on accident. might be a better idea to use something that your friends won't want to drink, mayeb i'll try a spray can next.
