could it be that she is too young, have her parents and friends pressuring her, you most foreigners hate Americans, so she may have people close to her telling her you are no good, (or more along the lines of no good redneck) . anyways I seen it all the time, American have a bad rep in other countries. may wanna ask her whats influencing her decision. maybe she don't wanna leave, she just have a lot of pressure.
