dont worry, im heading back to my roots. Ive got alot of ---- going on right now as to where my happy *** will be calling home in the next 6 months...who knows what will happen. i've still got "300hp for under $1000" to build before I leave Okinawa. Buddy of mine who rips on hondas has yet to nail 300hp on his powerfc tuned SR20, toami cams, head gasket, and a something or other non-OEM turbo. non-sense. I wanna do it on 100% junkyard bullshit, im not spending more than $1000 on my ---- 300hp. Thats including a new 1.8 motor.

i believe its tomei. and he must not have any clue on how to tune then. from all the reading i've done on the sr's is that the redtop with cams and a bigger turbo can push 475whp. i guess they're built like a brick -----house

wish i would have taken pics of some setups i've done. hella ghetto when you are hacking up the neighbors garden hose at 11pm for your oil drain line so you can take a test drive around the block. ended up loseing the hose and 3 qts of oil by time i got back, lol.


now these are the set-ups HMT was based on, now everybody wants SS oil lines, metal charge pipes and a real welded bead besides a good ol fat JB bead .

yup. stock bottom end with some ARP hardware will push over 400hp on a stock bottom end. the head however wont flow good enough to push that much power, at least from my experiences/friends experiences here. cams, port the head, bigger snail, head gasket, arp hardware up there also...it will take an *** raping.

my buddys sr20 is getting tuned thsi weekend...probably as I type. He's hoping for 500hp on stock bottom end (with arp hardware) Motec tuned.

the other guy who cant break the 300hp mark, his problem is he's maxing out his injectors. Hes at like 9something dc at ful throttle. Its tuned by the apexi dealer (only dealer on island) ...its a solid tune.

I wanna build a HMT 300hp set-up so bad it drives me nuts.

this is the first hmt turbo set up i ever did and it pulled pretty good. it was a d15/z6 mini-me (10.?) compression with fmu foooooo. ran for a year. tring to find pics of the hmt hood scoop and water intercooler sprayer via washer fluid
