There is a pretty easy way to guestimate this.. and they will have top end if you get the right turbo. You take the engine size and the max rpm it turns.. So say you have a 5 liter diesel that turns 2800 rpm. Well next you take your max rpm. Say 8000.. 8000/2800=2.85 5/2.85 1.75liter. So the same turbo that is good for a 5 liter diesel turning 2800rpm should be the right size for a Gsr engine.

If you know what truck the turbo is off of you can decide it its a close fit or not.

diesel makes more exhaust, then gas so that equation really doesnt work..

all diesels come with a 3" stock exhaust system. now if u can figure out how much exhaust they do flow.. then your in the money.

a lot of peop;e doing v8 turbos use the turbos from the f350.
