Try asking for a del sol vtec axle at one of Kragen or Autozone, I can almost guarantee they will give you a d series axles!

yeah i was just checking out the engines that came in them, so they had a del sol SI with SOHC and DOHC.

no thats wrong..

model: Del Sol Si = d16z6/y8 (year dependant)
model: Del Sol VTEC = b16a2/a3 (year dependant again)+

the ACTUAL trim level was called VTEC. with the sticker where the Si would go and everything. I can confirm this cuz i saw one a few days ago. and there was a OOH SOO HOT chick driving it.

not to blow up ur spot. but why are you comparing a 5th gen civic to a 2nd gen? also the SI Sols came with B16A3's and your comparing it to a EX/SI Civic of the 5th gen variety which came with dirty D's. ok you might be right on the handling cause they do have a good weight distribution. :P

lol i ment the 92-95 civic's lol i was tired when i wrote that. and 95 sols came with both b16a3's and b16a2's. The del Sol SI was a D16z6 (93-95)(y8 96-97) an was faster stock than a civic.
