Default Defi gauges??

OK. So, my Ching Chong 5"tach died on me. Opened it up.. Wow, what a nightmare! 200 rpms off @ idle.. 2k rpms off @ 6k rpms. 7k rpms= 2.5k rpms off. I've been researching tachs, and I know everyone leans to AUTO METER!!! BUT I found Defi.. Anyone know of these?

Let me know what u know. or what u think! The price is a tad steep.. Avg $300, but watch the vid.. I think it's pretty cool!

OR what gauges do u recommend?

I know i'll need an external tach the day I swap the CRX. I want to rev the b18 to 8000+, which is a bit higher than my stock tach will go. I had a JDM cluster that I was going to use to solve that problem, but it was too JDM for me and I sold it.

Stock.

DEFI are nice, but why? Such a waste of money in a non-performance aspect.

You could always just set a "shift light" with your chipped ecu, if you have one

Just buy a used one. Here is a autoguage one, I've used their products in the past and worked well.

Have to agree with JD. All the lexus guys run it along with everyother insanely expensive part. I usually buy middle of the road ---- that seems to work fine.
