Default Decisions, Go B or stay with the D

So i been lookin into doin the LS/VTEC swap, and from what people have been saying and stuff, getting all the ---- together and what not is going to be a be a bitch. Chris said it would be way easier to just buy a complete swap (i lack the cash). So what are your guys input about it. Piece together an LS/VTEC swap or just keep the D16Y8 and build it up? I was thinking about if I kept the D, getting a Z6 bottom end (since the oil pumps are way better) and building it and then eventually boosting again, AFTER the manual swap of course. BUT can I still use the same axles with teh different block and transmission? ughhhh i just wanna be SOMEWHAT fast :1

What is your projected HP goal? If all you would like is 200-250 WHP, just turbo the D.

Man there are so many parts out there that if you put the same time and attention to detail in a D motor instead a B, you could have a pavement pounder. It all depends on you and your wallet. If you get a B motor then you will be doing the exact same thing you would do with the D. Its all your choice. Just stick wit hthe D and build it right.
