How are you going to do the drive shaft to the rear?
Can the stock rears handle it?

might be getting a newer 280 donar car for free maybe i dunno. or just parts off it.

the general thought is the rear end can handle a stock/mild small block if you dont romp too hard on it esp with sticky tires.

the 280 rear ends are supposed to be stronger, especially the 280 turbo models.

although i put a older ducati to shame today on the highway... he gunned it pass me and i changed lanes behind him and had to let off or else run his ass over... right when i hit full boost he turned around on the bike and was liek WTF?!?! and when the bov went off he flipped me the bird lo!

Turboing a 5.0 is about as hard as turboing a D-series; flip the headers, open downpipes and done. :P

I'm not saying it'll never get done, I'm just saying you got alot of work. Start wrenching ;)

im afraid of the $ rather than the work ;)

you can use mounts off a lot of cars... its pretty cool.

gotta buy a T5 or some other trans. whatever i find cheapest first. manual thou.

im pretty sure the heads need new valve guides... but i'll probably put them on if it uses a little oil o well :-p
