The Dark Knight

Anybody see it yet? I went to the midnight showing last night and got 2 hours of sleep before I had to go to work.

Good movie, Heath Ledger did an awesome job as the Joker, too bad he's dead.

i agree on the super shitty copy. im gonna go monday when the prices arent hiked through the roof at our local theater.
9 bucks weekends < 5 bucks weekdays, yeah ---- going on opening nights/weekends anymore. to many little ------- kids ruining the movie.

Re: The Dark Knight

I bought my ticket in advance last week for 5 bucks. The theater was sold out last night in all 7 theaters and people were selling them for 25 bucks a pop. Should have done it... but oh well.

i think there are 4 by me within like 20 miles or so of each. they never have shown just disney bs. always show the best of the best though when it comes to new releases.

just got home, i'm pretty much speechless. it was badass. everything a batman movie should be. heath ledger did an awesome job with the joker, its a shame that he was reaching the pinnacle of his career when he passed.

Yeah on E! they had a special about him. They were talking with people in the movie and that worked on the movie and they said he literally scared them he was that good at the part. Said he just enveloped himself in the role and became the Joker.

i went to the 1.30am showing. I feel it didn't live up to my expectations. don't get me wrong, badass movie and I'd recommend it to all. I just wouldn't watch it twice if I had to pay for it. How ever kieth was a sick ass and disturbing joker. he's gonna win an oscar.

Re: The Dark Knight

Tickets $9 a piece. Bought a combo 2 medium drinks/1 large? popcorn not realizing that it cost $17... $17 for ------- two root beers and a tub of popcorn.

At least the movie was awesome as ----. The Joker far and away stole the show, that was a hell of a role.

Screw that, wear a jacket and stop by the gas station for goodies. I can make it 2 hrs without food though.

awesome movie, more people need to spend a month in a hotel room with the script before they cast.

I definitely had to piss like hour into the movie, but just held it so I wouldnt mis anything. Tickets in Philly are ridiculous I think they are liek $12 and $15 some places. While IMAX are like $20-$25

Just got tickets for the IMAX tonight @7, they only had 4 tickets left so I sucked it up and paid the online fee. $2 won't kill me I guess.

Ours is apparently going to show it.

And don't forget, they didn't show the disney-esque speedracer that I wanted to trip and view.
