Re: Dad's first taste of boost
no man it was great.
i can't describe how much fun it was to drive that car. from home to work or from san diego to vegas. that car was a blast to drive.
it takes a little getting used to, but after that it feels normal.
sometimes the glare on the windshield from the glossy white "dash" got annoying. i almost painted it primer black so it wouldn't glare as much.
only problem was all the ricers in so cal would want to race me all the time.

Re: Dad's first taste of boost
my crx weighed 1800 lbs with a full tank of gas.
that is with the turbo dohc zc
my friend with full interior b16 crx weighed 2200 lbs
that's 400lbs yeah i think 400 lbs makes a difference.
using a 1/4 mile time calculator with my specs put in
using an estimate for hp cause it has not been dyno'd yet.
1800lbs 200hp at the wheels = 12.11
2200lbs 200hp at the wheels = 12.95
that's a pretty big difference.
i know it's not accurate, but close enough.
and there is alot more weight that can be removed from my old crx too.
