Default D series in a 83 Accord?

Hey, as you all very well know by now, I wrecked my crx..

(If not, check the sig dumbass )

My uncle's Accord (83.. A20a1 or something? lol) recently blew a head gasket, and he told me he would sell the car to me very cheap. I was just wondering how hard it would be to swap the d16a6 in there (or more importantly, would it be worth the cost?). I'd like to buy another 88-91 crx or civic, but the only CRX I saw around here was going for like, $7000. And no one else is selling their cars. Should I just replace the head gasket (17x,xxx miles) and drive it til she blows or what do you guys think? Remember, this is way-low budget. Maybe in the summer I can turbocharge the A20 or whatever if I feel the need for speed

I've never even messed with his Accord, I was in it once about a year ago, and at that time I didnt know ---- about cars whatsoever. I'm thinking replacing the head gasket should do the trick. And if do that then I'm going to want to turbocharge it mid-summer :P

That car is kinda a POS, carberated junk.

Why not just sell your kidneys on the black market and go get that 7 thousand dollar car. Sell your g/f or sister or something for another car. Make a HMT train sale or some ----.

The 7g car is a really nice CRX (redid the interior in all leather, lowered down with coilovers/shocks, black rims with polished lip, wings west kit *i know, ricey, but who cares, he got it on good*, and a really nice exhaust. Low miles car too. But the problem is, I heard he took out his B18 and stuck in a high-miles D15 or 16, and is trying to convince people its the b18. Shady kid.

I found a Civic that I tried talking the kid into selling to me for $200, but he said he wants to drive it til its dead, and who knows how long that'll be.

I kno where you can get and completely rust free rex for about 1500...has 232,000 miles, motor does puff some smoke..

Ive got a d15b2 in my garage that has 79,000 miles on it, its like brand new internally, for 1800 bucks you could have a damn near new dx rex.

We arent that far from each other, so this would be easy
