Cutting weight sucks ***RANT***
 
so yeah, like it says cutting weight sucks balls....

I want to wrestle in some open tournaments in december and ----, and im def not gonna be in the heavy weight division 216-275lbs range, ---- that. So i need to drop about 20 lbs to get to 215, but my GOAL (very unlikley) is 185...gotta lot of work. Ride the bike for 1 hour 2x a day with LAYERS on, lift between and diet. I dont knwo if anyone else has tried this ---- but im takin VPX Redline from GNC along with the Mega Men vitimans and protein (now before you flame) i need protein so i dont lose muscle along with flubb, its basically to maintain and build too.

DAmn i need some icy hot :-\

im currently drinking a beer and doing lots of pushups to gain some muscle/weight lol...i call it the college workout

haha that what made me gain when i hit college....when I ws in HS i was wrestline at 171...damn that was nice, but beer and aftershock ran its toll...oh yeah and taco bell, hahaha

sounds like a pretty solid workout. i assume your not doing any serious weight lifting, cuz otherwise you'd just be gaining muscle while losing fat.. and end up gaining weight :X

just stick to stuff that just keeps you in shape, like light dumbells, leg workouts, and maybe a little bench every once in a while. while your not doing serioius workout, do some stuff that helps your joints. can't exactly remember which exercises that was, but just look into it.

yeah im riding the bike for a good cardio and sweat and dumbells to balance out teh loss so im not losing my muscle, cuz i dont wanna get my ass handed to me, lol. man back in hs cutting weight was soooo much easier :P

1. Don't shop at gnc it's expensive as ---- bodybuilding.com
2. If you are in good health and can handle stimulant get some ephedrine and caffine tabs, the ephedra is marketed as vaso pro for shortness of breath
3. keep lifting weights, when you lift your matabolism stays up, for a day or two, when you only do cardio metabolism stays up for a coulpe of hours
4. don't drink booze it kills test and metabolism

good luck, stick to it don't beat yourself

umm...go to the hospitle...everyone that goes there for a couple days and can't eat loses weight fast :y

yea im doin pretty good so far, lost 6 lbs since friday, so its goin...just need to pick it up. it'll be worth it once i get to kick some ass again, lol sauna suits own me 8)

no advice, but I remember when my boy had 24hrs to cut weight for a tournament....all I know is apparently he lost 7-9 lbs overnight, I'm not sure exactly how and what that can do to your body in the long run, but that was amazing to see that kinda dedication for high school wrestling. I can't even lose 9 lbs in 9 years, LOL...good luck!!

yeah overnite you drift, but he prolly worked out before the tourney too. that ---- is all water weight, when our kids (our team, im a coach) need to cut weight, we put em on the bike or have them run in layers, you can sweat off like 5lbs in an hour, just cant drink ANYTHING or eat ANYTHING after, or until weigh ins

yea i remember there was a thing on MTV about weigh loss people, and I was like wtf when after they weighed in before the tourny you see every kid just chompin down on like granola bars and water.

When I was in high school most of my weightlifting during season was done with relatively light weights but as fast as I could go for a certain amount of time on each piece of equipment. Good for cardio and was a good for muscle endurance in general.

I heard crack works.......But seriously like fork said GNC is way over priced, bodybuilding.com has good prices. Keep doing the cardio, cut down on the amount of weight you do and up the reps.

Definitely do the vasopro and caffeine, that stuff burns fat like crazy.

dude it can be done. i've lost 50 pounds in 2 months before.. basicly i would just play basketball for like 2-3 hours everyday, and wouldnt eat a damn thing. it was kinda bad though, i felt sick all the time, and would eat Tums like they where candy to make myself feel better :(

Let us know how you do. I'm wrestling 135 this year for my school. I always played basketball, but I'm tired of politics. I'm confident my strength will compensate. I weighed 133.2 so I'm good to go. ;) Good luck!!! ;) ;D

You willing to ---- a lot?

You guys might remember that pill that cleans your insides out, my doc said he went on it (he's in really good shape) and even he lost 5 pounds, im sure you could lose about 15 or so paully. It's good for your body.. the only catch is you ----. A lot. And it isn't pretty. PM me about it if you want some info on it.

My diet consists of Del Taco, hot pockets, chimichangas, chili cheese fries, Dairy Queen blizzards, and some other random ----. My weight doesn't move. I can eat everything I see and not gain any weight. I think the most I ever weighed was close to 190, but I was working out 5 days a week and eating 1lb. steaks and 1/2 gallons of ice cream for dinner every night. :6

lose weight? im trying to gain it, 3 tubs of weight gainer, on it for over 6 months, 20 years old. n still weigh less then 150 =x

i took GNC weight gainer 2000 before, one scroop of powder mixed with 2 cups of mike, three times a day. and i went form 130 to 170 within two month.
but be prepare u will become super horney while ur taking those thing lol i dunno why but it just happen.

I feel your pain man. I lost 10 lbs in 3 days twice my senior year in high school. I did it the natural way though, lots of hard practice with 3 layers of sweat pants. I never used laxatives, a plastic suit, or puked. I did eat, but not very much. It is true though about the weigh-ins. I used to not eat much all day, weigh in, and then chow down before the matches started. Creamsavers used to get me through those days when I couldn't eat during the day. I did really well my senior year, but towards the end of the season, I just had no energy left. I actually lost to 2 kids in regionals that I had beat during the regular season. Oh well. I miss wrestling a lot, but not the cutting weight part. Definitely the hardest sport I have ever done. Well worth it though. Good luck with everything. later,

yeah, the weigh in thing is basically a must, i liek tho the people who eat TOO MUCH after weighing in and puke on the mat, hahaha not only are the sick now, but lose position...hahah

i odnt use laxatives either, just layers of clothes and lots o sweat...the 1st meet is in december in mid ohio, should be interesting

your gonna get lit up, by guys who are trying to add weight.

you will be fatigued and dehydrated for the match. trust me i know, i wrestled for 4 yrs in highschool.

i used to eat kids alive though, as i was 245 in the heavyweight class, and much stronger, faster than all the fat shits i used to put down.

open class isnt a big deal. id rather wrestle that than 215.

171 and 215 are the most competitive classes, and alot of those kids are a ripped 215 . i think you may get hurt.

i wrestled for 7 years and coached for 4...i think i know, lol, but i want to go atleast 215 cuz heavyweight is a bunch of grecko-roman style guys, and ---- that ----...if i place i will be happy :)

with your body type, your best choice is open class. just stay on top, be very careful with your hi crothces, once a 350 lber is on you, you wont roll him off.

be quick and work the arms, pressure points.

hell I remember intense track practices Id leave 8 or 9 lbs lighter.. do it safe though.. protein up 30 mins after your lift/run

protein should be consumed immediately after. within 30 mins of excersize not after 30 mins. :y

haha no way, man i have a KILLER peterson, standing and from referee's prosition, once i get the wrist on my belly, BAM pinned, and my standing one is nice too, wall chair, wait for the arm, walk out and hit it

i love power halfs, see i was always tought, learn a move youre good at and keep practicing it religiously, so thats what i did. what sucks is when they think theyre smart and optional start on me...pppfffff just get up and let then take me down and on the way down when they go to cover for the 2pts, hit it. i dunno...its a sport i really cant let go of, thats why i coach and find open tourneys
