Come race me and my 84 camaro. I dont know what to call it. Its a z28 body and all and thats what it was. It had the H.0. 305, But i put the 350 in it so what is it. Its not an Iroc due to it not having fuel injection. O well, I have an Camaro RS. :P

Dude your gonna need a super wing for sure....
But if hes got an Auto, it should be an easy kill, that things not gonna move much after 2nd gear. So by then ull get some traction and eat him for breakfast, pm me if you need info, i got everything you need, if your afraid of doing the head swap, just get a d16a6 and "bolt on" a turbo.

buy my built d series and turbo setup, dyno'd at 234 hp, it'll do the trick for sure, turn the boost up to around 13-15 psi youre talking 250hp.

That's not all that impressive, I'm helping Tim (stenseltizm) with his Camaro project here and there, he took an 89 RS (2.8 liter V6) and put in a 400 SBC bored over and all that good stuff. And he made the harness for a FI 2.8 work for a carb'd 400... that's pretty impressive

so what exactly do you need from the computer to run a carb'd engine.

gas + spark = runs

Re:CRX vs. Z28

You are so out of $300.
Plus, if he does anything else to his car it will be that much harder to beat him. He can bolt on a 100 shot, or do a progressive 150 shot and you won't touch him.
Add a nice stall converter and slicks, bye bye chances of even comming close.

That car will run high 12s with a decent tire and a gear and low 12s with bolt ons good luck with the 1.5 though. ::)

Any SOHC D series motor can be a VTEC motor.

You're not winning this race with your little DPFI 1.5 :P

Re:CRX vs. Z28

I walked on a camaro the other night with my d16a6 w/ a cheap ass t-25 kit on it. It was just a v6 that was dressed up like a v8.

another thing is that after you get up past 200whp you're going to want some lsd when running slicks.

buy a b18a1 you can find them for pretty cheap and you'll beable to make 250whp without much problem on that.

Re:CRX vs. Z28

ya the v6s are a joke. the z28 doesn't take much to get fast.
you'll need some boost and traction. good luck.
when you are done with the mods, find another z28 first and make sure you beat it.
