Im an economics and finance major, I think I understand that man.. its just with the situation as it is with online ordering and what not you think the penalty for living in south africa wouldnt be as high.

Yeah but then think about shipping....Ebay people are ripping you off already charging double or triple the item cost to make money, and a lot of us companies might not want to ship overseas or charge an arm and a leg. Still it is a lot of money, but they look like both race and show cars so I can understand the $20k+ price tag.

Is that really the guy who drives that car in the third pic? Those cars are both sick, just a little bit ricey though.

Re: A CRX from South Africa

it's a different monster. It's the engine code used in japan for some engines we don't get in the US. There's a SOHC ZC, which is similar to a d16a6, there's a DOHC ZC, a black top and a brown top, similar to the first gen integra d16's, and there's a SOHC Vtec ZC, similar to the D16Z6. I think that's all they have, maybe there's one more.

They are good torquey engines that drop in and plug into the 4g civic.

so if i have a uk crx with a zc black top is it a dohc b16 then and are they better for boosting than any other 1600

Re: A CRX from South Africa

no zc are part of the d series family, the b16 is a different engine.
as far as better for boosting either one is fine.
