Wes gave permission, here goes:

89 CRX HF (let's hear it for sub 1900 lb rides)
LS/VTEC
Darton flanged sleeves (open deck design) with blockguard
Eagles/Wisecos
B17 head (whoopty - like it matters)
00-01 ITR cams aka CTR
Some brand valvetrain or other
DIY log manifold
SSAC Super T70 (the ONLY good SSAC turbo)
Edelbrock IM
Precision 880cc
Walbro 255
GM 3 bar MAP
Crome

There are some wierd glitches in the system - always a work in progress. Wes' Autometer Phantom was reading 15 psi when I was getting 9 off the ECU's datalogs. Tuned him to 15 psi @ ~11.2:1 AFR, then ran into boost spike problems going higher + time limits for the tuning session, so I dumped a bit more fuel into the higher psi range since Wes was feeling brave. He ended up running 9:1 AFRs on the dyno with the boost cranked up to ?? psi. Ignition timing is very conservative, needs advancing, and the AFRs need a cleanup. Currently revving to 8500, will probably turn it up to 9000 next time out. There's a good bit more power left to be made at the boost he's running - I'm frankly scared of it until he gets water injection/racefuel, and dyno time to do the ignition map properly. Something janky with the FITV, car won't idle correctly when it will idle. Clutch is iffy.

And the stock tach problems started with the Blaster coil install - who knows? I suspect ignitor is going south.

Car was hugely frightening to tune. Broken oh ---- handle, which I kept grabbing for, and the laptop kept trying to chuck itself of my lap and out the window when we'd hit "turbulence." At the power to weight to strip respectable crotch rockets, the car is a bit squirrelly. Like New orleans is a bit wet.

Wes said the MSD cuts off at 8,500rpms, but he reports the BIG tach is off a little, I also wanted to say that stretch of road is slightly uphill also. Its not level.

at first I was like aww what the hell? THen spoolage comes and just walks past him like he was standing still. That vid was crystal clear. We need more vids like those instead of the ones where I have to squint at it to try to figure out what it is. :-\
