My car does the same thing now that I have the DA knuckles on it. I do have the Neuspeed springs which do lower the ride height.
Cant have your cake and eat it too. :P

maybe CRX needs to be slammed on something other than OEM replacement shocks

I think the real problem is that we told you what you didn't want to hear.

You like tuckin 16"s on your phat JDM whip.

That's the problem, your car is too low and with the added weight of the LS over the D15 it caused a bit more suspension travel than before.
