Extend the tophats. Go to H-T... type in "extended tophat" into search. End your noobishness.

Yeah that's right I referred to H-T... but at least it was some actual tech.

Re: crx bottems out BAD

honda tech has some tech, but the amount of tech per amount of posts is very minimal.

no ----, a picture would help too.

did you take the bumpstops off the shafts before reinstalling? my guess is its lowered too much and still has bump stops.

Re: crx bottems out BAD

you probably not bottoming out the shocks at all its probably the upper a arm smashing your fender well. thats what my crx does when i got anyone riding with me thats over about 175 lbs and i hit a big dip killing it down some back road. raise ur car dude... or go to the gym....

MustangC. 10-21-2008 12:09 AM

Re: crx bottems out BAD

no problem.

seriously, try raising up the suspension. it should stop bottoming out.

whatupdohc 10-21-2008 12:16 AM

Re: crx bottems out BAD

there is no reson for it to botem out i have had a few crx's never had one do this ---- is ther any way i can just hav it botom out all the time cuz goin down the road and haveing it go WHAM is really no funn and the thing handels like a limp dick

MustangC. 10-21-2008 12:19 AM

Re: crx bottems out BAD

i dont know what to tell you dude, i dont know if you realized tokico blues are nothing more then a stock replacement. so if you were expecting them to handle the car being slammed any better then stock youre mistaken.

no offense dude but are you serious? You have a lowered car with no bumpstops and you are wondering why when you hit bumps it bottoms out? Spend a little time staring at the suspension looking at what is actually going on, add in bumpstops, and raise it up if need be.

Or you could just put some integra suspension and that bitch. That will solve all your problems.

wheel gap is even tho LOL i love it

What the O.P should do......is look and see whats actually hitting. Are you sure ur suspension is actually travelling free, and not binding/popping. If its bottoming out, its too low...hence BOTTOM-out
