Cool Chamber

Re: Cool Chamber
looks like a typical cold air box
|
Re: Cool Chamber
First off its in German and second off it wouldn't be of much use in a turbo car.
|
Re: Cool Chamber
oke, why not.
|
Re: Cool Chamber
Because you should have an intercooler if you are turboed, so your intake temp should be cooled down by that. And fitment issues, most people have a hell of a time putting an air filter ANYWHERE, let alone make a CAI for it. And you wouldn't want to be sucking up water into your turbo/engine. And you don't want to use a bypass valve to prevent that, because it restricts flow. You don't want to be restricting the flow on a turbo vehicle.

Re: Cool Chamber
hhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm, oke thanks.

Re: Cool Chamber
But the car on the picture, has got a turbo.

Re: Cool Chamber
Ok, I didn't really read the description closely. In any event, this thing is just a gimmick and it looks like you're falling for it. Don't waste your cash, a turbo will force enough air in your engine by itself to make you happy
|
Re: Cool Chamber
Oke, thank you.
|
Re: Cool Chamber
That thing looks like dryer vent hose and a cloth air filter. $10 worth of parts. I gotta start marketing these things.

Re: Cool Chamber
It's a product you can pay to advertise it here but I doubt many will buy, advertise at H-T.
|
Re: Cool Chamber
who the ---- needs a filter anyway?
that thing is nothing more than some flexable hosepipe with a ------- coffee can attached to it with a filter inside. (see, we at HMT can reproduce pretty much anything on the market) bottom line, its ------- gay. send it back, or at least do something other than use it. |

Re: Cool Chamber
haha, so this was a plug for their product. Funny.
oh and I made an intake similar to this too, I actually used that laundry air duct ---- too. Musta been a mircle product, now that I think about it, I did beat a civic with the same more and practically same setup, except I hade the laundry air duct AgentMurdoc High Velocity Low Tempeture Short Ram Cold Air Intake on it, cause I beat him and he had a body kit, so he defintiely shoulda been faster. |
Re: Cool Chamber
ha.

Re: Cool Chamber
how big was his wing? he musta not had enough down force to the rear wheels ::)
once i get my turbo on i'll be the rockin the $10 AEM HELLA short ram i got for free, it's just a filter, with about 5" of hose attached |
