contest of speed ticket

Last week I got a ticket for contest of speed when my friend and I accelerated through 1st and half of 2nd gear. My friend and I slowed down at 10th of a mile and the COP appeared ¼ mile down the road. She gave us both 12-pt contest of speed tickets and told us to be on our way. I was wondering what will happen as far as plea-bargaining and suspension of my license. I have no other traffic offences on my record and the COP also misidentified my vehicle. She put my car down as a CRX when I drive a civic hatchback. Any help will be most appreciated.

did you go over the speed limit? if not fight that ----. ---- that cop. if you were speeding, not much to do except bend over and hold your ankles....

How did the cop estimate/know your speed?? Some officers are certified to estimate speed visually.. just by looking at ya compared to your background.. trees whizzing by and ----.. I heard of this guy who got a ticket by a cop with this particular certification. So, on court day, he was gonna fight this ticket.. the cop stated he was certified to within 3 to 5 mph (I believe). So the guy stands up, holds his arm straight out, and drops his pen. he then asks the cop how fast the pen was traveling when it hit the ground.. the cop was way off (the guy used all sorts of geometry and calculus formulas to scientifically "prove" how fast the pen was moving) and his ticket was dismissed.

That isnt something I would recomend.. cuz that cops gonna be pissed cuz you made him look stoopid, and he is gunna hunt you down forever itching to give you a ticket for anything and everything.

whatever ya do Good Luck!

not sure if this is true or not but I heard that if the cop misidentifies your car then the ticket is automatically dismissed. anyone else heard of this?

PS: i know when i got a speeding ticket, the cop wrote my speed on the seatbelt ticket (i wasn't wearing my seatbelt) and he wrote "defendent was not wearing proper restraints" on the speeding ticket. hehehehehehe (he mixed em up, dumbass) i got off because i only plead not guilty to the speeding ticket and since the speed i was going was not written on there, i was found not guilty. ;D ;D i had the seatbelt ticket in my pocket with my actual speed on there!! i left court room laughing (swear to god)!

it doesnt matter if they misidentify the car make and model they dont even have to fill in half the ---- if they dont want to. All they need is your name license number and what you did wrong. Ive learned all this from first hand experience.

Sorry dude, but that ticket is totally legit!

It mostly depends all on the judge though!

That's not completely accurate. I got ticketed once for "Going too fast for conditions." It was 85 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. There were no conditions. Ticket dismissed.
